(19:03) SALINAS- Salinas City Councilman Jose Castaneda will go to trial on felony charges of domestic violence, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. Yesterday (Thursday) A Monterey County judge ruled that Castaneda will have to stand trial for the September incident when he allegedly forcibly detained and assaulted an ex-girlfriend. Castaneda remains free with a $100,000 dollar bail bond.
