(18:01) SALINASA Salinas man died after being struck by a minivan on Wednesday night. Authorities say that a pedestrian was walking in the southbound roadway of Alisal Street near Hartnell Road when he was hit by a vehicle travelling at 50 miles an hour. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The driver was not cited or arrested, an investigation is ongoing.
