A man who tried to buy some items with someone else’s credit account today is being sought. the incident took place at the Sears in the Northridge Mall in Salinas. Even after the clerk refused the purchase the man tried to leave the store with some merchandise, but he put them down when he saw store employees waiting for him at the door. The unshaven suspect was described as being in his 30’s with close-cropped dark hair. Anyone with any information about his identity is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
