The Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency has posted warnings at three area beaches. The postings come following an April 1st sampling that has revealed elevated bacteria levels at the Santa Cruz main beach, Cowell’s Beach, and at Capitola Beach. Beach goers are advised that bacteria levels are above the safe levels for human contact. No other beaches are affected by the postings.
