Individuals and agencies have donated half a million dollars to the Food Bank for Monterey County. That after an arsonist started a fire that destroyed an entire fleet of Food Bank delivery trucks. The Food Bank for Monterey County helps 1 in every 5 people in the county, including 20-thousand children. Based on the donations, all of the Senior Produce Markets are expected to be operational this week, and the family market is expected to be up and running next week.
