A road in Salinas was partly closed yesterday while a private company reenacted an accident scene. Officers were on scene to help recreate a crash that occurred in February 2013, where a woman was run over by a truck. The victim survived the accident and sued the City of Salinas for damages. A private company was hired to recreate the scene as part of the city’s defense. Police closed a section of North Davis Road near the Westridge Shopping Center between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. while they assisted the firm with the reenactment.
