A Scotts Valley man convicted of child molestation was sentenced yesterday. 50-year-old Corey Nevin Marshall was arrested in February 2012 after a 13-year-old girl reported he sexually assaulted her over a period of five months. Marshall was rearrested when he attempted to contact the victim a year later. He has been sentenced to 131 years to life in prison.
