A Pacific Grove man was convicted of vehicular manslaughter with special enhancements on Friday. In April of 2013, 32-year-old Stuart Elder had a blood alcohol content of over twice the legal limit and was speeding at 80 miles per hour in a residential zone when he hit another vehicle head on killing both occupants. After the verdict was read, Elder was remanded into custody without bail. He faces 15 years in prison at sentencing April 1st.
