A Santa Cruz County Judge has ruled that a 34-year-old woman should stand trial on 2 felony charges. She is accused of leading law enforcement officers on a high speed chase on Highway 17 (and Mount Hermon Road) earlier this month. When cornered, she backed her car into a patrol car. Although she has been charged with evading police and assault on an officer, it has not yet been determined if she will also be charged with driving under the influence. That ruling is expected to be made when she returns to court January 13th.
