An 18-year-old died on the way to a Bay Area trauma center yesterday, after being shot in the head in Watsonville. The shooting occurred around the area of Watsonville High School and Watsonville Police said that it stemmed from an incident of road rage. The initial confrontation resulted in two groups pursuing each other in a deadly encounter which left one 18-year-old male shot and killed. Three men are currently being sought in connection with the shooting; they fled the scene in a grey truck. This is Watsonville’s 10th Homicide this year and Investigators do not know if it was gang related.
