A Cabrillo College student was arrested during a criminal justice class earlier this week. Wednesday morning Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s detectives investigating gun brandishing complaints served a search warrant on the 700 block of Green Valley Road. Authorities seized two loaded handguns, over a half a pound of methamphetamine, and $4,500 in cash. Deputies then tracked down the resident to a classroom on the Aptos campus. Shortly after 11 a.m., 19-year-old Guillermo Campos was arrested on weapons and drug sales charges, and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
