The Monterey County Board of Supervisors has delayed a decision regarding the Ferrini Ranch housing development. A meeting was held yesterday to address the project, which would be constructed on the south side of Highway 68 between River and San Benancio Roads. During public comment, community members said they were concerned the subdivision would cause noise pollution, disrupt traffic flow, and destroy the roadway’s scenic views. The project’s developers maintain a majority of the property will remain untouched. The board hopes to reach a final decision on December 9th.
