A wanted parolee was arrested wednesday after attempting to flee from santa cruz police officers. 37-year-old Richard monjaraz was eventually stopped near prospect heights. Officers allegedly found heroin and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. Monjaraz was booked into santa cruz county jail on multiple charges.
