a morgan hill man has filed a lawsuit against solar power systems manufacturer solyndra over abrupt layoffs. the fremont based company laid off 11-hundred employees without warning, before filing for bankruptcy. peter kolstadt, of morgan hill, filed a suit alleging that solyndra didn’t provide at least 60 days notice of mass lay-offs, as required by law. the claim also alleges that solyndra owes former employees hundreds of hours of vacation pay that had been accrued.
