Cal-Trans has delayed the start of a 5-mile project on Highway-68, in Salinas. The work was set to begin today, however the agency announced that the project is now scheduled to begin on October 3rd. The re-surfacing project will involve lane and ramp closures, from River Road to Work Street. Parking in downtown Salinas will also be affected during work hours. Most work will be done during the day, but some overnight closures could also occurr.
