The City of Santa Cruz has been given an award for its good accounting practices. The “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” was given to the city for it efforts in making its “Comprehensive Annual Financial Report” easier to understand. It is the 5th year in a row that Santa Cruz has been given the recognition, from the Government Finance Officers Association.
