A Watsonville man was arrested this week, for allegedly trying to steal a lap top from Scotts Valley High School. 18-year-old Taylor Jordan was taken into custody on Wednesday, after authorities contacted the driver of the van that Jordan escaped in. He was confronted by school officials as he left a basketball game, and dropped the stolen lap top before fleeing in the van. Jordan faces charges of possession of stolen property, and authorities plan to also charge him with burglary.
