2 men in King City were arrested during 2 separate unrelated cases on Friday. The first incident occurred around 3 p.m. when police arrested 20-year old Fernando Orozco Chavez on the 100 block of Spruce Drive for possessing and transporting methamphetamine, and for driving without a license. Police say a K-9 unit discovered a plastic pill bottle containing crystal meth weighing 3-grams along with $450 in cash. Later that same evening, King City police arrested 18-year of Richard Garcia at 9 p.m. for possessing and transporting marijuana, along with a violation of a San Luis Obispo County Court order.
