A riot at Salinas Valley State Prison yesterday, left 4 inmates injured and led to the discovery of 5 inmate-made weapons. The riot reportedly broke out around 6:30 p.m….in the day rooms. The cause of the riot is still being investigated. No staff members were injured in the incident.
