3-and-a-half tons of trash has been picked up from the Sycamore Grove area (near the northern area of Pogonip Park). The clean-up, by Santa Cruz Police and members of the Parks and Recreation department, yielded 3.5 tons of garbage including, drug paraphernalia, human waste, camping gear, and a bike chop-shop. It’s the 2nd time in recent weeks that the area has been cleaned-up.
