A Sunday evening shooting on the outskirts of Watsonville hospitalized a man with non-life threatening injuries. The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. near San Juan Road and Gonda Street when a man was struck by gunfire from a passing vehicle. The victim who remains unidentified at this time was taken to a local hospital. Anyone with any information on the shooting is encouraged to contact the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department.
