A 2nd Monterey County Sheriff’s deputy has been arrested in connection with a case involving the sexual battery of female inmates. Former deputy Brent V Horger now faces charges of forcible rape. Horger and Marlon Alveranga were arrested after a year-long investigation stemming from incidents that took place in Monterey County Jail in 2018. No further arrests are expected in this case.
