(11:15) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz County Sheriff is inviting people in the community to learn how their Office has implemented the 21st Century Policing concept. Sheriff Hart and California Department of Justice Director of the Division of Law Enforcement Larry Wallace, will show you how the model strengthens relationships with our communities, provides accountability to the public, helps us impact policy on the people we serve, improves safety for the community and Sheriff’s deputies, and to prevent crime. The event will take place next Wednesday, August 17, at 10:00 a-m At the Sheriff’s Office Community Room (5200 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz).
