(20:07) SOUTH MONTEREY COUNTY – The Coleman Fire, burning in south Monterey county since Saturday, has charred 23-hundred and 40 acres so far, and destroyed 1 “minor structure”. It is 15 percent contained. 160 people have been evacuated from Reliz Canyon, where homes are potentially threatened by this wildfire. Warnings have been posted for Monroe and Upper Pine Canyons, but so far the fire has not moved any further in their direction. 850 firefighters, and numerous aircraft, are being used to try and contain this brushfire….that has burned into the northeast corner of the Los Padres National Forest, near the north end of the Ventana Wilderness. The fire was initially reported around 2:30 Saturday afternoon, 11 miles southwest of King City….near Fort Hunter Liggett.
