A meeting has been scheduled, to further discuss a proposal to allow 2-way traffic on a greater section of santa cruz’s pacific avenue. the downtown commission and public works and transportation commission are jointly-hosting the meeting, set for next Thursday, November 3rd. the 7 p.m. meeting is slated to be held at city council chambers on center street. the proposal would allow 2-way traffic on pacific avenue, between cathcart and church streets. If both commissions vote to approve the plan, the city council could take it up on november 8th.
