(07:25) Watsonville – Authorities reported that 2 men attempted an armed robbery and shooting last night in Watsonville. The incident took place just after 11:00 p.m. on the 700 block of East Lake Avenue. The victim reported that 2 men attempted to rob him at gunpoint as he was sitting in his car. As the victim fled the scene the suspects began shooting at him. There were no reports of any injuries. The 2 suspects were last seen running southbound down Manor Avenue. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.
