A high-speed chase yesterday(sun) on highway-1, ended with a fatal wreck that left 2-people dead. The chase ended off of the freeway, at Salinas road, just south of the santa cruz/Monterey county line. The vehicle that was being pursued by California highway patrol officers, collided with a motorcycle, at 4:15 p.m, near mar monte avenue. The driver of the wanted vehicle, and the motorcyclist, died after the accident. Traffic was detoured for several hours, while the scene was investigated and cleared.
