A 19 year-old is now slated to stand trial for vehicular manslaughter in Santa Cruz. Mark Mendoza Zambrano is accused of losing control of the car he was driving, and hitting a mother and her daughter the afternoon of June 15th. 43 year-old Allison Endert died as a result of that incident, and her 15 year-old daughter was seriously injured. Zambrano faces numerous charges related to the fatal accident, including gross vehicular manslaughter, and driving while under the influence of marijuana causing gross bodily injury.
