14 individuals were ticketed in a contactor’s license and insurance sting. Santa Cruz county and state authorities, working together, recently contacted 18 people advertising as licensed contractors. Agents posing as homeowners requested estimates for various projects from those contacted. Seven people were ticketed for no license and no workers compensation insurance. The other seven were cited for various violations of the State Contractors’ Licensing Board. All of the violators were cited in released.
