120,000 Juvenile Chinook Salmon were released into the Monterey Bay yesterday, as part of the annual stocking of Chinook or King Salmon there. The fish support local commercial and sport fishing, and as such they also help support the local economy. The juvenile fish that were released yesterday will be ready for commercial and sport fishermen in the next 2 to 3 years.
